Spring 2014 Open House was a great success

Once again TYMS students and teachers put on a truly terrific show in our Spring 2014 Open House performance. The event was MC'd by TYMS Board members Melissa Cummings, Tom Ford, and student Board representative Elizabeth Pacheco. All classes had a great showing, and made some magnificent music, showcasing what they've learned this semester. After the performance, friends and family gathered for frito pies and sweet treats, raising funds for the program. Thank you to all who helped make this a success!

Taos Youth Music School

We are a tuition-free after school music program for kids K-12th grade. Classes include music education, Garage Band and Youth Choir. We have outstanding teachers, dedicated to our program and to teaching, who are also all professional musicians. Our five teachers instruct 55-60 students each semester, in once-weekly classes.

“The classes are fun. We make friends from all over Taos. I plan on attending until I graduate from High School and then I would like to be a teacher for the Taos Youth Music School.”
